This Spring, NADIA will be hosting our second annual Amplified Currents Festival of the Arts, and we plan to host a Fall 2021 edition as well. The Spring festival is free to the public and will consist of four pre-recorded evening length events on May 1, 8, 15, and 22 at 7:30 PM EST. Amplified Currents is dedicated to fostering an inclusive and creatively stimulating environment through curating intimate performances and conversations to amplify the process of interdisciplinary collaboration and creating a performance. The festival will emphasize non- traditional performance practices and the arts' unifying power by featuring spoken word, music and dance performances, interviews with collaborators, and a reading of a new play.

We are taking every precaution concerning COVID-19 and planning carefully to ensure the festival's in-person operations meet or exceed the CDC's social distancing guidelines. Our team also intends to honor state and local limits on social gatherings.

Visit the Spring 2021 Events page for information about each event, along with the registration links as they become available!
